People of All Nationalities and Ages Love Living in Folsom. Here are Some Reasons (and a Really Nice Folsom Home that You Can Buy)

Folsom California is a very popular city. It is valued by residents for an extensive recreational trail system, numerous parks, top rated schools, access to Folsom Lake, great restaurants and jobs. Yes, I said that. You can actually live and work in Folsom California!

Folsom's recreational trail system provides more than 34 miles of beautiful paved trails for cyclists, walkers and joggers.  Trail access points are located within most of the city's neighborhoods and near businesses and retail centers.  Many of the trails meander through Folsom's dedicated open space corridors, providing a journey through greenbelts, wooded areas with native oaks and vegetation, wildlife habitats, and along creeks and seasonal streams.

Folsom Lake State Recreation Area is the most popular multi-use, year 'round park in the California State System.  The 18,000-acre park provides opportunities to fish, hike, camp, picnic, ride horseback, water ski, boat, swim and study nature.  The sandy beaches are an easy place to visit the lake and get swimming during summer months.

Some of the employers in Folsom include Intel, Mercy Hospital System, The California State Prison System, Verizon Wireless and Honeywell. Folsom has a thriving economy and is attracting numerous smaller technology companies and also retail businesses.

People who work in Folsom will often put forth a good deal of effort to find a home in Folsom thereby avoiding the hassles of commuting.
